GIA Boca Raton’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy, tailored for individuals who require more structured support without needing residential or inpatient treatment. This program includes group therapy, individual therapy, and medication management, with sessions held multiple times a week.
Depression Track
The Adult Depression IOP at GIA Boca Raton is designed for adults experiencing symptoms of depression. Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and behavioral activation, the program focuses on developing new coping skills and fostering peer support. It aims to provide intensive care while encouraging participation in everyday activities like work, school, and family time, helping clients quickly return to the activities they love.

- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
- Commitment: 9 to 12 hours per week

Clients also participate in weekly individual therapy sessions and have the option for medication management. Our expert team closely monitors medication and makes necessary adjustments to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
